The 2011 Brunello is a representative wine for the year. Layers of macerated red cherry, plum, cedar,tobacco and anise fill out the wine's ample,broad shouldered frame nicely.La Colombina has done a terrific job finding just enough freshness to balance the wine's ripe personality.
A touch of warming alcohol rounds out the finish, clearly marking the personality of the vintage but without being excessively imposing.2016-2026
